Santa Anita Derby runner up has distance questions, but certainly no lack of class or talent. He currently holds the world record for six furlongs, which he scored when he won the Sunshine Millions Dash at Santa Anita. So his best performances have also been on the Poly. He'll figure into the early speed of this race, although his connections want to back him off the pace a little to try to make up for the distance. Figure him to be a factor if he handles the dirt and runs like he did in the Santa Anita Derby. The only horse that beat him that day was Colonel John.
