War Pass was not working well this week, and as a precaution, some x-rays were taken. They discovered a fracture in his left front ankle, so he is out of training until it heals up. It's not very severe and he is walking soundly, so it shouldn't be a career ending problem. He will be back, it's just unfortunate timing. This will change the chemistry of the Derby quite a bit, as Big Brown will probably be the leader now. This is basically the biggest piece of news on the day today.
