(Majestic Warrior) Majestic Warrior, after dissapointments in the Louisiana Derby and the Florida Derby, will not run in the Kentucky Derby. The son of AP Indy has not tasted victory since the Hopeful Stakes last September in his second lifetime start.
Etched steps off the trail after finishing fourth in his first career defeat in the UAE 2000 Guineas at Nad Al Sheba in Dubai. He was scheduled to rebound in the Al Bastakiya, but missed it (I'm not sure of the reason). He was an impressive winner over Anak Nakal and others in the Nashua Stakes as a two year old and has excellent bloodlines, and should go on to do good things even if the Triple Crown races are not in his future.
