His best efforts have come on the synthetic surface, but he had good excuse in his Fountain of Youth so it is very difficult to tell how he'll run at Churchill. Monba is a good horse, and he should be a contender if he can transfer his form to the dirt. While he had the down time for from the injury (very minor, just a bad cut) that he recieved when he was stepped on in the Fountain of Youth, he got throat surgery, and that could have been what turned him around. Not to say that he wasn't good before, because he was. But maybe he's even better now.
